Disan herbal drops is a dietary supplement based on a mixture of plant ingredients that can contribute to maintaining the normal physiological state of the respiratory tract. It contains broadleaf plantain, veronica, echinacea and menthol, which have a calming effect on the mucous membrane of the throat and pharynx and on the vocal cords. Vitamin C helps reduce fatigue and exhaustion.

Our lungs use alveoli, tiny saccular bubbles on the walls of the bronchioles, to expel carbon dioxide from the body, which reaches them through our blood stream. So we exhale it, and by inhaling we take in fresh oxygen, which then, again through the blood stream, feeds the whole body. Unfortunately, we are increasingly exposed to various types of pollution, especially air pollution, today even in rural areas. Air in highly urban environments contains an extremely high percentage of microscopic particles (PM 2.5) that cause cardiopulmonary diseases and lead to decreased immunity.

With an extremely polluted air and the passive or active inhalation of tobacco smoke, our sensitivity to allergens increases and immunity decreases, the pulmonary alveoli are overloaded and all this can lead to a decrease in lung capacity, respiratory problems and other disorders.

The most common ailments and disorders we encounter today are:

  • irritated mucous membranes of the throat and pharynx
  • cough
  • bronchitis
  • asthma
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • pollen allergies
  • poor circulation
  • decreased immunity

Disan herbal drops is a bio-elixir whose composition is complex; in addition to eight plant species, it contains honey and vitamin C. Disan protects respiratory organs and helps revitalise the mucous membrane of the throat, soothes a tickly dry cough, strengthens immunity, preserves our vitality and work abilities. Its medicinal plants improve peripheral circulation, cleanse the liver and the whole body. This bio-elixir is especially beneficial to smokers because it reduces physical dependence on cigarettes, and with the calming effect of lemon balm, it provides significant help when one wants to quit smoking.

One of the most common uses of broadleaf plantain is for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Broadleaf plantain and honey in Disan herbal drops are a winning combination for respiratory disorders: cough, bronchitis and asthma. A detailed study has found that this plant has the same effect as theophylline, a drug used to treat obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma. It is very effective in treating lung infections, pneumonia, mucus in the lungs, dry tickly cough, laryngitis, pharyngitis, allergic bronchitis … Broadleaf plantain soothes inflammation, soothes the mucous membrane and helps expel bronchial mucus (expectorant). The German Commission E has approved the use of broadleaf plantain for coughs, bronchitis, colds, fevers, inflammation of the mouth and throat, and skin inflammation.

What is especially useful for respiratory organs in broadleaf plantain are saponins and mucilage, which, among other things, create a protective film and disinfect the mucous membrane; tannins that help expel toxins from tissues; allantoin that stimulates the formation of new cells; glycosides and antibiotics that prevent infections and potassium salt which helps in tissue regeneration.

Honey nourishes our immune system. Apalbumin 1 in honey has immuno-modulatory properties. Honey has an anti-inflammatory effect, it helps our digestive system function better, it balances the levels of lipids in the blood, increases the antioxidant capacity of the body, plays a role in replenishing minerals in the body and thus contributes to achieving a good general condition of the body and the immune system.

Echinacea – purple coneflower strengthens immunity by increasing the number of T-cells, contributes to the creation and activity of macrophages and stimulates the production of interferon – a protein that protects the body from viral infections. Thus, as a natural antibiotic, echinacea protects the body from the negative effects of harmful particles and strengthens the immune system. The German Commission E has approved the use of echinacea for colds, coughs, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, wounds and burns and to address susceptibility to infections. Studies have shown that echinacea is just as effective as Tamiflu, a drug used to prevent the flu.

The German Commission E has approved the use of lemon balm for increased nervous tension and insomnia, as well as gastrointestinal problems. In Disan, lemon balm helps by soothing the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, helps prevent infections and facilitates expectoration, while its antioxidant effect has a positive impact on immunity.

Inulin extracted from dandelion, a polysaccharide that contains soluble plant fibres, benefits bifidobacteria that eliminate pathogens from the digestive tract and stimulate the immune system, thus preventing the growth of abnormal cells. A scientific study has confirmed that there are strong mechanisms in this plant to suppress the growth and replication of the influenza virus. In addition to thoroughly cleansing the respiratory tract, dandelion has a beneficial effect on the mucous membrane of the respiratory organs and it stops coughing.

Angelica is a medicinal plant with proven series of beneficial properties; its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties and strong expectorant action come to the fore in Disan. It is recommended to treat poor appetite and is excellent in combatting decreased immunity, chronic viral infections, swollen lymph glands, frequent sore throats and sinuses.

Veronica – heath speedwell is a medicinal plant rich in tannins; it cleanses the blood, invigorates the body and has a proven strong anti-inflammatory effect on the lungs. This plant calms the body and the mind, relaxes and makes it easier to fall asleep, which is of great help for sufferers of hard tickly coughs. As a powerful cleanser, Veronica also acts as an expectorant – it helps expel mucus from the lungs and relieves chest pains.

Nettle is rich in iron, which significantly contributes to the treatment of anaemia and decreased immunity. Quercetins from this plant contribute to the reduction of allergic reactions, while polyphenols act as powerful antioxidants. Thanks to beta-sitosterol, nettle helps with urinary tract infections, and with its diuretic effect it flushes toxins out of the body and relieves joint pains and rheumatic problems, which has also been highlighted by the European Medicines Agency. Its anti-inflammatory effect helps with inflammation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Studies have proven that nettle has many beneficial effects on the body, including the ability to destroy cancer cells.

White mistletoe is one of the most powerful medicinal plants and has been proven to stimulate the immune response at the cellular level and selectively attack and destroy cancer cells. Today, it is used in many clinics as a therapy for malignant diseases and precancerous conditions. The power to destroy pathogenic cells comes from viscotoxins – cardio-tonic polypeptides and lectins from this plant. Unlike standard anti-tumor therapy, white mistletoe does not destroy granulocytes; on the contrary, it strengthens the patient’s immunity, so it is used as additional therapy for patients on chemotherapy, which is recommended by the German Commission E. White mistletoe in Disan cleanses the body of pathogens and strengthens immunity.

Vitamin C is necessary for the normal functioning of the body at all levels; its role in protecting cells from oxidative stress is known, thus contributing to general immunity and faster recovery after illness. Menthol has a calming effect on sore throats and is often used as an expectorant – to speed up the expulsion of mucus from the respiratory organs.

USER EXPERIENCE WITH DISAN

We have asked our customers to describe their experience with Disan herbal drops:

In my experience, Disan herbal drops are a real natural ally in the fight against hay fever. I have been using Disan herbal drops for two years now, at first only with the onset of allergies; the following year I used them throughout the year. Of course, in those two years, my allergy didn’t disappear, but the symptoms were easier to tolerate, as I had suffered from serious breathing difficulties. When I started using Disan, everything became more bearable and easier. The most important thing is that with the constant use of Disan I managed to reduce my hay fever. After so many years of real torture, I am finally looking forward to spring without allergies!

After recovering from the flu, I was left with a persistent cough that often woke me up at night. I tried various medications and syrups, but nothing worked. A friend brought me Disan one morning; I took three doses that day and that night slept without waking up for the first time. After two days the cough was completely gone.
