The skin is our largest organ that protects us not only from external influences, mechanical injuries and microorganisms, but also supports the whole body by participating in metabolism, excretion, thermoregulation and transmission of external stimuli. Unfortunately, this organ is associated with the largest number of disorders, as many as 3,000 of them. Skin health depends on external factors, as well as on the condition of the whole body, diet and especially hydration. In our lifetime, the condition of the skin changes and as we age it loses elasticity and moisture. External influences, such as pollution, inadequate sun exposure or self-harm leave visible and unpleasant changes, and can also affect the occurrence of more serious disorders.

The most common skin problems are:

  • eczema
  • psoriasis
  • dermatitis
  • rosacea
  • burns
  • allergies, burns and dandruff after sunbathing
  • shaving irritations
  • acne
  • hyperpigmentation of the skin
  • sensitive skin (prone to dandruff, redness, burning)
  • scars
  • enlarged pores
  • age spots
  • inflammation of the skin
  • sebum secretion disorder
  • difficult healing

Shea butter, rich in fatty acids, gives the skin a delicate and youthful appearance. This butter is estimated to provide natural sun protection in the range of SPF 3-4, so it is a common ingredient in suntan lotions and lipsticks. An abundance of fatty acids (oleic, stearic, linolenic, linoleic, palmitic, arachidonic), vitamins and antioxidants in it has a soothing, moisturising and nourishing effect, it restores elasticity of the skin, making it ideal for the care and treatment of problematic skin (dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, seborrhoea), while its healing properties help with stretch marks and scars. Studies have shown that shea butter has a regenerating effect on scars caused by dermatitis, sunburn and injuries with an incredible 70% success rate.

Cocoa butter has a number of medicinal properties thanks to the abundance of fatty acids (linoleic, oleic, lauric, stearic palmitic) and vitamins A, C and E: it protects the skin from oxidative stress, soothes inflammation, helps with allergies and regenerates, which is why it has a beneficial effect on dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema and allergic reactions. It is especially useful for sunbathing because it soothes sun allergies, gives the skin moisture and elasticity, slows down its ageing, prevents dandruff and drying, and helps remove blemishes. When applied before sunbathing it will protect the skin from harmful UV rays; after sunbathing it will contribute to a beautiful tan.

Beeswax is a scientifically recognized ingredient in dermatology and skin care, thanks to the abundance of flavonoids that give it antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties, as well as its power to tone and rejuvenate the skin. In addition to its healing properties, the wax gives the balm an ideal density, which is why it is easily applied and adheres to the skin, creating a thin protective film. Sterols in beeswax increase antiseptic properties of the balm, protecting it from pathogenic microorganisms, while vitamin A slows down the degradation of collagen and stimulates the mitotic division of epidermis cells.

Chilean rose oil is a source of retinoic acid (oxidised form of vitamins A, ATRA, tretinoin, trans-retinoin) which leads to faster recovery of damaged epidermis, reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the face and signs of premature ageing, reduces hyperpigmentation (age spots) and protects the skin from drying in the sun. The synergy of ingredients in the oil contributes to the reduction of scars caused by surgical interventions, injuries, or in the wake of acne treatment. Chilean rose oil also contains tocopherol (vitamin E), which helps maintain good skin tone and healthy appearance with its wealth of moisturising ingredients. Thanks to clinical research, Chilean rose extract is known to destroy melanoma cells, which is of particular importance for the prevention of the harmful effects of UV rays.

Avocado oil has excellent regeneration and rejuvenation abilities due to its high content of essential fatty acids that prevent drying out and maintain skin elasticity. It has been proven to contribute to the metabolism of collagen in the skin. It penetrates deep into the skin and carries active ingredients to the inner layers of the dermis. Its antibacterial and healing properties make it ideal for the treatment of wounds, acne and dermatitis. It soothes itching in eczema and psoriasis. A high content of vitamin E helps neutralise free radicals. This oil also provides great protection against the sun, it prevents sun spots and burns. It contains vitamins A, B, B2 and D, pantothenic acid, proteins and lecithin, which with their combined action nourish, moisturise and soften the skin. Avocado nourishes young skin, while it is especially useful for mature skin: it hydrates, softens, alleviates hyperpigmentation, and even alleviates and removes age spots.

Grape seed oil is rich in flavonoids and polyphenols which act as antioxidants, thus neutralising the influence of free radicals that contribute to skin ageing. Vitamin E and essential fatty acids stimulate collagen production and thus rejuvenate the skin. This oil is light, it does not close up pores; on the contrary, it improves lipid metabolism and contributes to the regulation of sebum, so it is also useful in the treatment of acne.

Evening primrose oil, rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), soothes skin inflammation, including those caused by psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema. A scientific study has proven that GLA has a beneficial effect on skin moisture, transepidermal water loss, redness, firmness, elasticity, smoothness and resistance to fatigue. Evening primrose thus encourages skin healing, softens the skin, conditions and hydrates sensitive and damaged skin.

Jojoba oil (more precisely, its wax) is rich in vitamin E and B complex vitamins, as well as minerals – zinc, chromium and iodine. Its action is  antibacterial, which protects the skin from microbes, as well as anti-inflammatory, and soothes various inflammatory processes on the skin. It is especially useful for problematic skin prone to acne because it affects the stabilisation of sebum secretion.

Wheat germ oil is one of the oils richest in vitamin E, so it has a strong antioxidant effect, protecting the skin from free radicals. By stimulating fluid exchange, this vitamin contributes to deep skin nutrition. The regenerative effect of wheat germ oil is especially pronounced in dry skin, eczema and psoriasis.

Marigold oil is a powerful antioxidant; it helps treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns, various skin infections, urticaria, wounds that are difficult to heal, insect bites and stings. Triterpenoids found in marigold have been proven to soothe inflammation and oedema, heal and have an analgesic effect. In addition to healing, marigold softens, moisturises and tones the skin.

Bisabolol, an active substance of chamomile, has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, it prevents skin ageing, calms redness and irritation; panthenol contributes to protection and hydration of the skin, stimulates proper functioning of healthy skin and regeneration of damaged skin by acting on metabolic processes that enable the renewal of epidermal cells.

The extract of broadleaf plantain has long been used for dressing wounds and healing the skin, and is very effective in the treatment of bleeding wounds, burns, frostbites, blisters, as well as acne, rosacea … It has been proven by studies that broadleaf plantain has the ability to improve healing by fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis and wound vascularisation.

Yarrow is a famous medical herb used in our folk medicine; its healing properties have been proven by studies. Yarrow establishes an ideal pH balance and hydration of the skin, even after irritation. Its strong anti-inflammatory effect is effective even in the most problematic skin disorders. In Devi skin regeneration balm, yarrow extract contributes to the healing of wounds and scars, as well as soothing inflammation.

Witch hazel extract can replace creams with corticosteroids with its anti-inflammatory effect, without causing any side effects. It is so mild that it is also suitable for treating skin disorders in children. Witch hazel soothes the symptoms of dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis; it reduces itching, redness and dandruff, and its antioxidant effect also helps with skin prone to acne. As a strong astringent, thanks to tannins, witch hazel helps with enlarged pores and accelerates wound healing.

The essential oils of rosemary, bergamot orange, lavender and mandarin stimulate skin regeneration, soothe and heal it and provide additional help with burns, wounds, eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.

All the ingredients of Devi skin regeneration balm have a beneficial effect on soothing itching and the flaking of the skin; at the same time they remove the scaly surface layer of the skin in eczema and psoriasis. The balm soothes inflammatory processes and regulates skin moisture, which provides good prevention against skin damage. The balm can also be used in the daily care of the healthy skin.

Devi skin regeneration balm is a completely natural product, without mineral oils, synthetic perfumes and parabens. When used properly, it can be used indefinitely.

USER EXPERIENCE WITH DEVI SKIN REGENERATION BALM

We have asked our customers to describe their experience with Devi Skin Regeneration Balm:

I have psoriasis and for years I have been struggling with red scabs that form when my condition worsens from time to time. They are terribly painful, itchy, and most of them are below the knees, which is why I don’t remember when I last wore socks. I have them on my face and at their worst I am ashamed to leave the house. When I started using Devi skin regeneration balm, I felt incredible relief. I apply it a couple of times during the day on all the places where the changes can be seen; they stopped itching, but the best thing is that I no longer have scabs that are peeling and bleeding. The balm somehow softens them and removes them completely painlessly, and the skin underneath is healed. Great experience, I can recommend it to everyone!

My son is three years old, his skin has been hypersensitive since birth. He has the worst rash on his cheeks, which we recently learned is eczema; he persistently scratches it, so it often happens that it bleeds. Every night and morning I apply Devi balm to it; it stopped itching and is healing nicely.

Three years ago, I had sun allergy that made my skin inflamed and sore; then I accidentally applied Devi balm to it. I immediately felt relief and the following day the allergy subsided. Since then, I have used the balm regularly as soon as I get redness and stinging and thus avoid both allergies and any irritation.
